Heated Liner Gloves

Warm hands. Working hands.

Warm hands for indoor tasks—without giving up the dexterity to type, swipe, sort papers, or handle everyday objects.

Current direction

Ultra-thin liner for indoor everyday tasks.

Planned

XS–L development sizes and two swappable battery sets.

Still validating

Heat distribution, runtime, fit, wear, and comfort.

The real problem

Indoor warmth should not turn an ordinary task into a clumsy one.

People whose hands frequently feel cold may need warmth for hours during desk work and ordinary indoor routines. Mainstream heated gloves are often designed like outdoor equipment: bulky, visually conspicuous, and uncomfortable around the wrist when typing or leaning on a desk.

Boundary: this is a personal-comfort product direction, not medical treatment or a medical-device claim.

Three reasons to care

Priorities shaped around the task.

01

Thin enough to keep doing things

Reduce the interference typical of bulky outdoor heated gloves.

Problem → design decision

Typing and fine movements suffer with bulk, so the current direction uses a close-fitting liner and soft, elastic double-sided brushed fabric.

User value → evidence/status

Less interference in everyday indoor tasks. Fabric and product direction are current; comfort, pilling, durability, and fit still need sample validation.

02

Heat designed around the fingers

Address cold fingers, not only the back of the hand.

Problem → design decision

Back-of-hand-only heat can leave fingers uncomfortable. The wire direction extends along both sides of each finger.

User value → evidence/status

Broader intended finger coverage. This is a current design definition; measured distribution, temperatures, and long-run consistency are not yet verified.

03

Power positioned for a working wrist

Keep the wrist flex area clearer at a desk.

Problem → design decision

An inside-wrist battery can press against the desk. The battery moves to the back of the hand with a securing strap.

User value → evidence/status

Less intended pressure around the wrist, with four batteries / two swappable sets planned. Runtime and long-term comfort remain unproven.

How it works

A low-profile system built around movement.

The current product definition connects the heat path, material direction, and power position. It does not yet establish final thermal performance.

01 / Material

Close-fitting liner

Soft, elastic double-sided brushed fabric is the current material direction for an ultra-thin indoor liner.

02 / Heat path

Back to fingers

Heating wire is designed from the hand back along both sides of each finger for broader intended coverage.

03 / Power

Back-of-hand battery

A securing strap keeps the planned battery away from the inside wrist; two swappable sets are planned.

Development journey

Dexterity became the standard for every decision.

01

Observed friction

Warmth was disrupting the task.

Why / action

Indoor users were being asked to wear outdoor-style gloves, so the goal shifted from maximum bulk to maintained dexterity.

Evidence / learning

Product problem definition. Everyday movement—not outdoor insulation—became the reference.

02

Defined the use case

Indoor work and everyday handling.

Why / action

Typing, phone use, paperwork, and fine movements were selected as reference tasks.

Evidence / learning

Current use-case definition. Outdoor sport-level insulation was excluded from the primary job.

03

Reduced the profile

Ultra-thin liner direction.

Why / action

A close-fitting liner and double-sided brushed fabric direction were selected to reduce interference.

Evidence / learning

Material development reference. Durability, pilling resistance, and comfort remain open.

04

Redesigned the heat path

Wrap-around fingers.

Why / action

Heat coverage extended from the hand back to both sides of each finger.

Evidence / learning

Current heating-layout definition. Thermal uniformity still requires measurement.

05

Moved power

Away from the wrist flex zone.

Why / action

The battery moved to the back of the hand, secured by a strap; two swappable sets were planned.

Evidence / learning

Current configuration. Desk pressure and charging interruption shaped the decision.

06

Prepared development references

Material and pattern work.

Why / action

XS–L pattern-development work and factory measurements were assembled.

Evidence / learning

Internal development references exist; they are not a final consumer fit chart.

07

Current build / next validation

Prove comfort in real tasks.

Current

Purchase files, listing materials, sample photography, and consumer wording are in progress.

Next

Measure heat distribution and runtime; test repeated wear, pilling, battery comfort, and task-based fit.

Development references exist

Material direction and XS–L pattern-development work are available as internal references.

Current design

Thin liner, finger heat path, back-of-hand power

These define the current product direction, including two swappable battery sets.

Sample photography, listing materials, and careful consumer wording are in progress.

Open limitation

Performance is not measured here

Heat uniformity, runtime, comfort, wear, pilling, and task-based fit require validation.

Product FAQ

Straight answers before you follow.

No medical claims, unsupported heating speed, or unlimited-runtime promises.

Is this a medical product?

No. It is being developed for personal comfort during indoor tasks. This page does not present treatment, medical advice, or a medical-device claim.

How warm does it get?

Final temperatures and thermal uniformity have not been established in the supplied evidence. Measured heat-distribution testing is a next validation step.

How long will one battery set run?

Runtime has not been verified in the supplied v2 baseline. Two swappable battery sets are planned, but runtime is not unlimited.

What sizes are planned?

XS, S, M, and L are current development sizes. Internal measurements are not yet a final consumer fit chart.

Can it replace an outdoor winter glove?

That is not the primary use case. The current direction prioritizes indoor tasks and everyday handling, not outdoor-performance insulation.
